Sideshow Collectibles model of C-3PO & R2-D2, as seen in Star Wars: A New Hope. Premium Format Figure in box with working lights. Very rare figure, not coming up for sale very often, so don't miss out! Figure Comes with the Base which has a couple of scuffs around the edges, as you can see in the pictures, with another smaller one which I couldn't fit onto the photos, but isn't too bad, but if you would like to see please feel free to message me and I'll be happy to show you. R2-D2 Model has his middle leg which can be retracted to display him with just 2 legs, or extended to show him with 3 legs, giving him the appearance of movement. He can also be made to light up by pressing the button at the top of his head, as you can see in the pictures, and from what I can see the lights seem to all be working and flashing, although the plastic on the red light at R2-D2's front is a tad loose, I'm assuming from jostling during transit, and with movement can slip and only cover 80% of the little hole it is meant to sit in, but isn't hard to get back into place, and obviously once on display should be fine from then on out. As a result of this, the strut on the outside of his left arm seems to have snapped in the past. It does hang close to his body, so not too noticeable, and doesn't restrict his movement, but worth mentioning. The front of his head comes off and attaches magnetically, to get to the batteries inside, as apparently with the correct batteries his eyes will light up, but I don't know for sure if this bit is working as I have never attempted to replace the batteries in all my time owning it as I thought it was more effort than it was worth to have to take his face off every time to turn on the lights, and much preferred the lights on the R2-D2 model, which really does look quite stunning, and thought that C-3PO looked just fine as is.

So I'm not sure if the eye lights work as I don't have the correct batteries to test it. I would assume that they would as the R2-D2 lights were in good condition when I bought it, but like I say, I can't guarantee it. The figure comes in Original box, and Sideshow Collectibles Branded polystyrene casing inside, and is in fantastic condition. It has been out on display in the past, but from what I can see has no signs of wear as a result of this, other than those stated above, and overall is a genuinely stunning figure, and looks fantastic when viewed in real life. Both models obviously need batteries to operate their lights, which sadly aren't included as I can't send them through the post.

Finally, please note that the restraining bolts aren't included as they weren't there when I bought the model, and must have sadly been lost by the previous owner, as I only know they exist by seeing videos of the model online, but in my opinion the models look stunning regardless. Comes with the base, R2-D2, and C-3PO as separate pieces, and but once assembled the figure measures roughly 18 inches tall from base to top, and the base measures at roughly 14 inches x 14 inches.
